My tiny little garden is one of my happy places. I love to just wander around looking at everything that grows. This sounds like I have a huge garden, but it is actually very very small. But I still love it. I have a lot of plants in pots. Flowers, herbs and even vegetables.
For these drawings I was inspired by my tiny garden. I had a lot of fun splashing the watercolour paint on the paper. I digitally added the drawings, because I wasn’t sure yet what kind of drawing I wanted.
That’s what I love about working digitally: so many options and if you don’t like it, it’s fixed at the push of a button. That also takes away some magic, I know. I still prefer to work directly on paper. But for these drawings my tablet really helped me out.
