Sloths are one of the slowest animals on this planet. They move half a football field a day. Max! Their cute faces and long arms make them really adorable. But like many animals, their habitat is threatened. They live in treetops in the tropical forest of South America. And those trees are being chopped for farmland and wood. And with a maximum speed of 0.27 km/h it’s hard for them to run to a new home.

I made this sloth drawing because sloths are incredibly cute. And if we’d like to keep this strange tree bear, we need to protect their homes. So I also drew this sloth for awareness. And like all the other drawings in the Beastly Human series, to remind us humans, that animals are not that different from us. And since sloths have such friendly faces, I drew this character as your best friend! This sloth always listens. Whatever you have to say. The original drawing is sold, but prints are still available if you’d like to have this friendly sloth on your wall.
