I love a good villain. I mean: who doesn’t? So when I saw the life action Little Mermaid movie, I really wanted Disney to see an Ursula movie. I’m not sure if they’re ever going to make it. I hope so.
But it did inspire me to make these three portraits. They are so much more interesting than most fairy godmothers in the average Disney story. Maleficent actually is a godmother, but still.
I First drew the portraits with graphite pencil.
Later I added the watercolour.
